The building at 1721-23 N.W. 16th Street is located in what is known as The Plaza District. This is a commercial shopping area on the southeast side of the Gatewood West District.
This is a one-story stucco Art Deco building with a flat roof, built in 1924. There are two entrance doors, one original wood-framed, the other metal-framed. There are four large display windows, one to the west, three to the east. Renovations include the full-facade metal awning and tile kickplates beneath some windows.
The building is currently occupied by Everything Goes Dance Studio and Apparel.
This building is Item (6) on the Historic District nomination.
