The B.O.P.E Building (or Elks’ Temple) is located at the NE corner of the intersection of Main St and 5th Ave. The building was built in 1923 by the local Elks chapter for $56,000. McWilliams & Ross of Yakima, Washington were the contractors. The marble cornerstone was donated by the Puget Sound Marble Company and was placed in June 1923.
