Science Hall was built in 1909 and was the first building on campus. The building was later renamed Eaton Hall after the two founders of Billings Polytechnic Institute, Lewis T. and Ernest T. Eaton. The college was renamed Rocky Mountain College in 1947 after the merger of Billings Polytechnic Institute and Union Intermountain College.
