The Ozark Trail was a network of locally maintained roads that ran from St. Louis, Missouri, to El Paso, Texas. Some have called the Ozark Trail the father of the Mother Road.
Eventually it led us to the now defunct TeePee Drive-In.
Amazingly this wasn't where we gave up a hubcap to the Mother Road.
This description of the bridge is from the Rt 66 EZ Guide: "Ozark Trail section crosses a 1925 iron bridge (with brick deck) over Rock Creek, passes a defunct drive-in, and curves thru a narrow RR subway"
At the time that we saw this bridge we weren't following the EZ Guide, so didn't realize what we were seeing, just thought it was a really cool bridge.
