This boxer dog in the garden of Babelsberg Palace is believed to be one of the dogs of Germany's first emperor Kaiser William I.

I couldn't find any authentic records about the origin, just a lot of speculation on German websites.

Referring to the name of the castle (Babelsberg), locals call the statue
The Hound of Babelsville.

The Hound of Babelsville has been watching Babelsberg Palace for the last 136 years.

Breed: Boxer

Date Built: 01/01/1871
