The Washita Hotel building was constructed as a two-story red brick building in 1918. In 1935, a partial third story was added on the east side. At some point in the past the rear of the hotel was connected by an interior hallway to the building at 105 N. Market on the side street.

In the past, the four storefronts on the ground level were occupied by stores and offices, with the hotel operating on the upper floors. Today, only two of the storefronts have occupants - an antique store and a Youth Care office.

The upper double-hung windows are all covered with metal sheeting, as is the clerestory. The windows are separated by brick pilasters, and decorative brickwork is done above the second floor windows. The storefronts are covered by a wood canopy. The building is located one-half block east of the Washita County Courthouse.
