Part of St. Francis Retreat in San Juan Bautista, Calif. is a hiking trail featuring the Stations of the Cross.

Part of this trail is a shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Fátima.

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Fátima, better known by the shorter version Our Lady of Fátima is the Catholic title given to a Marian apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Cova da Iria, in Fátima, Portugal.

In Christian history, the Virgin Mary appeared to three children at the Cova da Iria, in Fátima, Portugal six times between May 13 and October 13, 1917.

The shrine consists of a life-sized statue of the Virgin Mary, surrounded by the three children, Francisco and Jacinta Marto and Lúcia dos Santos and by a sheep, symbolizing the "three little shepherds."

The shrine was dedicated in March 1950.

St. Francis Retreat is a facility run by friars of the Franciscan Order.
It is open to anybody seeking spiritual growth.
