Two years in the making, Mural Park features lush lawn, flower and shrub beds, dedicated benches and a cooling pond. Surrounding the pond are river rocks, while it is supplied with water from a small waterfall. A walkway meanders through the centre of the small park, with dedicated benches strewn along its length.

The main focus of the park is a magnificent mural by artist Harry Engstrom and assisted by 12 year old Rachel A. Erest, completed in 1999.

The wild horses roam free in the Big Horn Canyon Recreational Area with over 120,000 acres.

The plaque acknowledges the many donors who made this park possible.
