Constructed almost single-handedly by Japanese immigrant Isamu Taniguchi in his retirement as a gift to the city of Austin. features numerous lanterns, waterfalls and ponds including a koi fish pond. there is also a teahouse (ornamental; no drinks available), a moon bridge, bamboo plantings, and a carved stone gate which was a gift from Oita, Austin's sister city in Japan.
