Long Description:
This mark is one of a series of US Army Corps of Engineer survey marks on the locks of the Charles River just east of the Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge and west of the Charlestown Bridge.

This mark is at the corner of the northern part of a walkway the connects the banks of the Charles River. To reach the mark from the north bank, start at Paul Revere Park. There is a large red brick building along the water there, with fences barring access. At the westernmost side of this dam across the Charles there is a passage across for pedestrian access.

The mark is near the end of the north-south section of the northern concrete 'island', (i.e. nearish the south end of the building). It is just east of the last lamppost in a line extending north-south along the pier, and is along the extended line of the east-west fence running along the south portion of the 'island'.
