Der Kaiser, als junger Leutnant in der Schlacht von Bare-sur-Aube am 27. Februar 1814, ritt auf Befehl des Königs von Preußen zum russischen Regiment Kaluga, das in der Schlacht gegen Napoleon große Verluste erlitt.

Wilhelm as a Young officer at the Battle of Bar-sur-Aube on 27 February 1814. He is shown riding on the orders of the King of Prussia to the Russian Kaluga Regiment, wich suffered great losses against Napoleon's army.
