Where the Hoyos de Bandama winery is located, it has its origin in one of the wineries of the De la Coba family, which is currently over 300 years old. The Hoyos de Bandama winery is going through a new phase in our long history, where everything is new, as the technology of winemaking is totally different from the past and where the old media only have an archaeological, ethnographic or historical value. We have invested in a new winery with a capacity for 100,000 kilos of grapes, where we can produce in variable proportions depending on the grape that enters the winery.
In addition to the facilities of fermentation equipment this winery also has American oak barrels, French and European center for the aging of those wines that are deemed appropriate. Cold, fermentation and ageing, which are fundamental in any winery, are very well equipped in these facilities.

The new facilities of the old winery have all the modern means of producing quality musts and wines, starting with a cold room with a capacity for 20,000 kilos of grapes, thus avoiding the daily destemming processes and reducing them to one weekly, and continuing by destemmer, 500 kilos grape exchanger, tanks of various capacities from 10,000 kilos to 1,000 kilos of grapes, isotherms, injections of oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide and above all great cooling capacity, doubling the capacity of generating cold to the necessary consumption. In the room of oak barrels with a capacity of 300 m2 of storage we have high hopes because there is no good wine without oak.
And to finish the semi-automatic bottling with a capacity of 1,000 bottles/hour and not have to wait much longer to enjoy our wines.
