[GER] Die Hamburgische Staatsoper am Gänsemarkt in der Hamburger Neustadt gehört zu den weltweit führenden Opernhäusern und blickt auf eine über 300-jährige Geschichte zurück. Unter ihrem Dach werden die Staatsoper Hamburg, das Philharmonische Staatsorchester Hamburg und das Hamburg Ballett beherbergt.
Das aktuelle Haus am Gänsemarkt hat ca. 1.690 Sitzplätzen und wurde mit einer Aufführung von Mozarts Zauberflöte am 15. Oktober 1955 eröffnet.

[ENG] The Hamburg State Opera at Gänsemarkt in Hamburg's Neustadt district is one of the world's leading opera houses and can look back on over 300 years of history. It houses the Hamburg State Opera, the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra and the Hamburg Ballet.
The current house at Gänsemarkt has approx. 1,690 seats and was opened with a performance of Mozart's Magic Flute on 15 October 1955.
