The carillon (Glockenspiel) consisting of 18 bells is placed in the gable of late-Gothic building of the town hall in Abensberg. The bells are attached on a grid around upper middle window of the house. The carillon plays i.a. the Bavarian anthem "Gott mit dir, du Land der Bayern, deutsche Erde, Vaterland!"(God with you, you country of Bavaria, German soil, fatherland!).
