"It is located between Laines Street, Grand-Cerf Street, Waterloo Boulevard and Egmont Palace.

The Egmont Park originates from the gardens of the Egmont Palace. They were transformed into French gardens by the architect Giovanni Niccolò Servandoni from 1759 to 1762. They were remodeled by the architect Tilman-François Suys in 1830. Edmond Galoppin transformed them into a landscaped park in 1901. This became the property from the city of Brussels in 1918 and was opened to the public.

With a surface area of 1.5 ha, Egmont Park is the only one in the Brussels pentagon to be completely surrounded by dwellings1. It is reached by the N ° 31 of the boulevard de Waterloo (Passage of Milan) as well as by the side of The Hotel, between the n ° 32 and the n ° 34 of the street with Laines (Passage Marguerite Yourcenar) and between the n ° 10 and 12 of the rue du Grand Cerf. It is currently separated from the Egmont Palace by a gate behind which is the garden of the "Boar's Court". "
