GUIDANCE
artist:
Lauren Koch

just as a community is a combination of people, it is also made up of buildings, which eventually become landmarks. The buildings depicted upon this wolf are landmarks that held many memories for people throughout Carrollton. Not only do these buildings provide us with landmarks, they provide us with Guidance as we move throughout our lives.

The guidance represented upon this wolf is that of faith, hope, love and justice. The first Baptist Church and First United Methodist Church of Carrollton represents faith. Hope is seen in the Dr. Tracy Stallings Community Center, formerly known as the Carrollton High School and followed by the Junior High School, which helped shape many lives. Love is represented by the Stewart House Assisted Living facilities where seniors who need assistance are provided with a homey atmosphere. Finally the Carrol County Courthouse represents our judicial system.
