The Jim Thorpe Home is a one-story frame house which was owned and occupied by famous athlete and Olympian Jim Thorpe from 1917 to 1923. The home is now a museum.

In the yard, west of the home is a frame outhouse, once used by the Thorpe family. The outhouse has a gabled roof, and a door which faces north. There are no windows in the building, which must have been mighty dark, daytime or night.

We were able to open the outhouse door and found it to contain a step ladder and various pieces of yard equipment.

Location:
On the grounds of the Jim Thorpe Home museum.
