[DE] "Die Pfarrkirche " Mariä Himmelfahrt " wurde bereits 1311 urkundlich genannt , ist eines der ältesten Gotteshäuser Tirols und liegt im Gemeindegebiet von Pfons. Sie beherbergt auch das Gnadenbild " Unser Herr im Elend " , das besonders im Wipptal sehr verehrt wird. In den Jahren 1995/96 erfolgte eine vollkommene Innenrestaurierung."

[EN] "The parish church "Assumption" was already mentioned in documents in 1311, is one of the oldest churches in Tirol and is located in the municipality of Pfons. You also houses the miraculous image of "Our Lord in misery", the much venerated especially in Wipptal. In 1995-96, there was a complete interior restoration."
