Le château de Walhain est un château féodal en ruines situé dans la province du Brabant wallon.

La partie la plus ancienne du château de Walhain remonte au XIIe siècle.

Le château, entouré de douves asséchées, est en ruines.
La partie la plus ancienne et la mieux conservée est le donjon cylindrique, qui occupe un des angles du château. Ce donjon, édifié en moellon, présente une ouverture au niveau du premier étage.

Il ne reste plus des murailles que le niveau inférieur des tours d’angle, de la poterne et des courtines.

The Castle of Walhain is a ruined feudal castle located in the province of Walloon Brabant.

The oldest part of the castle dates back to the 12th century.

The castle, surrounded by a dry moat, is in ruins.
The oldest and best preserved part is the cylindrical keep, which occupies one of the corners of the castle. This dungeon, built of rubble, has an opening on the first floor.

Only the lower level of the corner towers, the postern and the curtains remain as walls.
