This outdoor shopping center has covered boardwalks, a children’s play area, shady banyan trees, a butterfly & hummingbird garden and soothing water fountains. The butterfly & hummingbird garden is located on the southeastern side of the shopping center in a quiet green zone between buildings. An ideal place to relax from shopping or to wait while others do their shopping.
There are no interpretive signs to identify the flora and fauna so bring your identification books. A pair of low power binoculars help with identification of the hummingbirds.
Plants used to attract butterflies include hibiscus, fire bush, fire spike, coontie palm and tropical sage. A shallow fountain provides water. Numerous wooden benches are available for seating. Restrooms are adjacent to the garden area.
