First Post Disc, Whitehorse, YT - Canadian Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This disc is one of the First Post discs, found in the capital cities of all the provinces and territories. They were placed during Canada's centennial in 1967 to honour the surveyors who mapped our country. This link (visit link) tells the history of the disc in Fredericton, NB.
