Beecraigs Country Park is situated in West Lothian in Scotland, approximately two miles south of the town of Linlithgow. It covers a vast area of woodland on mainly high ground between Linlithgow and the town of Bathgate to the south, and features many walking routes.
On the extreme western side of the park is a car park close to the hill of Cockleroy and this sign and notice board are situated at the start of the path heading westwards into the woods.
The map on the sign covers the area of the country park and walks in the area, including the ascent of Cockleroy which lies a few hundred yards to the west, although outwith the bounds of the park.
