Der "GOLDENE PFLUG"
Am Berg Neuenahr, so die Sage, begegneten sich ein Bauer und ein Zwerg. Jener Troll verriet dem Bauern ein Geheimnis: Bei Vollmond könne man einen Schatz, dessen wertvollster Teil ein "Goldener Pflug" sei, aus dem alten Schlossbrunnen bergen. Jedoch dürfe der Schatzsucher bei der Arbeit, was auch geschehe, kein Wort reden, sonst bleibe der Schatz im Besitz der Erdgeister.
Mit Hilfe einer Angel zog der Bauer den "Goldenen Pflug" heraus, aber das Gebrüll eines Riesen versetzte ihn in solche Angst, dass er einen Schrei ausstiess, hierauf stürzte der Pflug in die Tiefe, und der Erdboden scherschloss sich.
Der bis heute verborgene Schatz lasse, so erzählt man bist heute, durch seine Zauberkraft die heilenden Quellen am Fusse des Neuenahrer Berges sprudeln.
Der "Goldene Pflug" verschwand einst auf dem Neuenahrer Berge, am Wadenheimer Platz taucht er nun regelmäßig wieder auf, um so dann wieder in den Fluten des Wassers zu verschwinden.

At the mountain Neuenahr, according to the legend, met a farmer and a dwarf.
