The 2016-17 Fayette Leader's Academy, a cohort sponsored by Fay-Penn Economic Development Council, has placed a total of 15 new Little Free Libraries across Fayette County, Pennsylvania. This project has been funded by generous local businesses and philanthropists. The libraries themselves were constructed by students and faculty of our local Career & Technical Institute, Fayette County CTI.
This library was sponsored by Somerset Trust and is located in a tourist town of which the nearby State Park is named for. There are wide variety of books for both the tourists, and residents, all 76 of them to choose from. Furthermore, it it is next to the Methodist Church, Visitor Center, Hotel and Community Center, so it fits the communities needs well.
