To enter the butterfly house use N 38° 39.891 W 090° 32.553. The 8,000 square foot is sheathed with 646 - 4'x 6' pieces of glass each weighing 200 lbs. The center of five vaults in the roof is 36 feet above the ground. The five vaulted ceiling is designed for a natural and safe environment for the butterflies and to minimize visual and flight obstructions.
