The chronograms are located on the sandstone pedestal. The Roman numerals of chronograms are larger than the other letters, all characters of inscription are gold-colored.
The year 1743 from the chronograms refers to erection of this statue.

About St. Wenceslaus
The first Czech saint and the patron saint of the Czech state, Wenceslas (Václav in Czech) served as duke of Bohemia from 921 until his death in 929 or 935. Though he died young, this martyr’s accomplishments were many. He built numerous churches in Bohemia and was deeply respected as a pious, moral, educated and intelligent man who promoted the Christian faith and took care of the poor, the sick, the widowed and the orphaned by doing charitable deeds.

Svatý Václav (asi 907 – 28. zárí 935, príp. 929, nemecky Wenzel von Böhmen) byl ceský kníže a svetec, který je hlavním patronem Cech a Moravy a symbol ceské státnosti.

Podle povesti byl vychováván svou babickou svatou Ludmilou a vzdelával se na Budci. Jako kníže, po porážce saským králem Jindrichem Ptácníkem, dokázal zachovat suverenitu ceského státu a založil chrám sv. Víta, hlavní kostel knížectví. Byl zavražden ve (Staré) Boleslavi, sídle svého bratra Boleslava, který díky tomu prevzal vládu. Po smrti zacal být Václav uctíván jako svatý pro svou v legendách mu pripisovanou zbožnost (vlastnorucní pestování vína a obilí pro svaté prijímání, péci o chudé, otroky a vezne, stavení kostelu, kácení šibenic, nicení pohanských svatyní[3] ap.) a posmrtné zázraky. Pozdeji se stal symbolem ceského státu.
