Nová hasicská zbrojnice v Úholickách má dve zajímavosti, které stojí za to videt na vlastní oci: 1) krásne provedená cervená smaltovaná cedule u hlavního vchodu, 2) vyvýšená, prosklená vež pozorovatelny nad strechou budovy. Vzhledem k faktu, že se jedná o základnu dobrovolných hasicu, je velmi pravdepodobné, že ve veži nikoho neuvidíte. Už vlastní stavba této budovy za 7.2 milionu CZK vzbuzovala mezi místními obyvateli kontroverze. Ani v ceských zemích totiž není bežnou záležitostí mít "hasicárnu" prímo na návsi uprostred vesnice. Jenže SDH Úholicky si ji opravdu zaslouží, protože od roku 2013 (kdy došlo k jeho znovu vzkríšení) se stal de fakto spolecenským centrem a organizátorem velké cásti spolecenských aktivit v obci. V prízemí budovy jsou dve garáže pro požární vozy AVIA a CAS 25 Škoda 706 RTHP.

The new Fire Brigade building in the village of Úholicky has two interesting things worth seeing: 1) A beautifully made red enamel sign at the main entrance, 2) An elevated, glassed observation tower over the roof of the building. Due to the fact that it is the base for volunteer firefighters, it is very likely, that you will not see anyone in the tower. The construction of this building for CZK 7.2 million has already raised controversy among locals. Even in the Czech lands, it is not a common matter to have a "Fire Brigade" right at the village square in the historical center. However, local volunteer firemen deserve it, because from 2013, when Fire Brigade was resurrected, it became de facto a center and organizer of a large part of the social activities in the village. On the ground floor there are two garages for AVIA and CAS 25 Škoda 706 RTHP fire trucks.
