Built in 1902, the Murray River lift-span bridge near Cobram is a large twelve-span bridge of timber, steel, iron and concrete, and features a steel lift-span on an iron and concrete substructure,
The Old Cobram-Barooga Bridge was officially opened on 3 December 1902 and remained in use until 2002 when a high level concrete bridge was built to the south of the original bridge, which remains open for pedestrian traffic.
Visit Instructions:
1) After you've found a vertical lift bridge, go visit it, get the coordinates, a picture or two of it, and if it is in use or not still as a lift bridge.
Then log it and post your pictures! At least one of the photos must be of you and your GPS there with the bridge in the background. (No old vacation shots or photos off the internet!)

3) Include any interesting information about the structure
