EN: The Rothaus Zoo is a small private zoo on the Thielle Canal on the western edge of Gampelen.
The zoo is home to many species of birds, including water birds, peacocks, eagle owls and nandus. There are also raccoons, kattas, turtles, a serval and a lynx.
The zoo is open every day from April to October from 10:00 to 18:30. Admission is relatively cheap with 5 CHF for adults and 2 CHF for children.
DE: Der Rothaus Zoo ist ein kleiner Privatzoo am Thielle-Kanal am westlichen Rand von Gampelen.
Der Zoo beherbergt viele Vogelarten, wie Wasservögel, Pfauen, Uhus und Nandus. Daneben gibt es auch Waschbären, Kattas, Schildkröten, einen Serval und einen Luchs.
Der Zoo ist von April bis Oktober täglich von 10:00 bis 18:30 geöffnet. Der Eintritt ist mit 5 CHF für Erwachsene und 2 CHF für Kinder relativ günstig.
