Nothing remains today of the fort, however, there are a few signs that have been erected to indicate the significance of the site.

Lorch was the southern most extension of the Upper German Limes. It lies on the main Roman road from Cannstatt, through the Rems valley, to the Roman province of Raetia. The "Raetian Wall", a further segment of the limes extending east, begins not far from here.

In 1986/87 remains of the fort were found on the Oriaplatz.
