Springfield has created a series of new you-are-here maps in conjunction with the expected influx of tourists with the opening of the new MGM casino. A useful feature of these maps is that they are all oriented to the direction you are facing. This map is located at the northeast corner, the main entrance, of the Convention Center Arena and faces east towards Pynchon Park. It shows the Metro Center area of Springfield from the Connecticut River on the west to the Springfield Armory to the east. The legend contains a street index and an index to area attractions.
