Tucked away at the back of a car park, this church is easy to overlook. An extensive village about 5 miles from Wolverhampton, Wombourne had a population of just over 14,000 in the 2011 census. Wombourne was a centre for small scale iron smelting and also many people were employed in nail making - mostly a cottage industry in their own homes.

Our building is a former squash club, sitting up the corner of the village car-park. All of the courts have been converted to upstairs and downstairs rooms, providing facilities for our many activities.

Our worship area was once two courts of the squash club, which were on the ground floor with an extension giving more room for worshiping and gatherings than we had upstairs.
