It seems that not long ago a restaurant and a pub called this home.

The restaurant seems to be gone now, as is the pub. They likely occupied the warehouse part of the elevator, which runs to the northeast from the elevator. A sign on the south side of the annex advertises the "Skate Arena", which apparently has also been known as the "Old Flour Mill Skatepark". Skating in a grain elevator? I guess it could happen.
Obviously once a flour mill, the elevator is a wood cribbed affair clad in corrugated steel and standing alongside the railroad tracks. On its south side is a concrete annex which was built many years ago. This can be seen by the method with which the concrete was formed, with wide boards, not sheets or forms, which came into use in the mid 20th century.
Today we see lots of pallets and apple bins stacked beside the elevator, possibly an indication of its present use. So far, no real information on the elevator's age, use over the years or general history has been unearthed.
