A First World War memorial made by A Ruscombe Emery, stonemason, dating from about 1921; altered after the Second World War to commemorate the lost of that conflict.
The memorial was erected after the First World War to commemorate the nine men of the parish of Broadway who lost their lives during the conflict. It was made by Mr A Ruscombe Emery, a local stonemason. After 1945, the memorial was altered to commemorate the serviceman from the village who had died in the Second World War. The structure was cleaned and repaired in 2013.
