"Safari Kid Preschool is closed until further notice after a fire over the weekend caused "significant" damage to the school.

The fire at the school located near Newark Boulevard and Jarvis Avenue was reported Saturday around 1:30 p.m.

Crews noticed smoke coming out of the preschool and while the sprinklers had activated and put out most of the fire, there was still lots of smoke, according to officials.

School officials confirm "there was a break in to the facility and it appears that someone intentionally started a fire in the school." (visit link)
