Station of the volunteer fire department Gudow in the city of the same name.
The volunteer fire department Gudow currently consists of about 45 active comrades and about 100 passive members. It is divided into two delete groups.
The FF Gudow also includes a youth fire department, a music train and the honorary department. There is also the separate and independent support association.
The members of the fire brigade come from all professions and do their duty in and for the community on an honorary and unpaid basis 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The area of operation includes the municipality Gudow with the place Gudow and the districts Kehrsen, Sophienthal and Segrahn with about 1620 inhabitants. The municipality has an area of 42.26 km ² and is thus the largest municipality in the office Büchen and in the district duchy Lauenburg.
