In Hamburg City Park are two polar bear statues that look almost identical and were created in 1935. The first bear is by Ludwig Kunstmann and can be found here, the second bear was designed by Hans Martin Ruwoldt.

Hans Martin Ruwoldt, actually Hans Martin Meier (born February 15, 1891 in Brunsbüttelkoog, † October 16, 1969 in Hamburg) was a German animal sculptor and portraitist.
