Calaboose - Addington, OK - Retired Prisons on Waymarking.com

This one is difficult to miss, as it's painted red -- they've missed a few spots down low where the grass was tall -- with "Addington City Jail" in white on the west side. There is no door, so you're welcome to go on in. Through the bars is a view of the highway is to the west, and a view of a storage shed to the east. Beware of wasp nests, but the city keeps this old jail well-maintained otherwise. The Tiny Texas Jails site indicates that the roof is a later replacement.
