The picture from around 1950 shows the view from the headland at the port of Mondorf to the "Hafenschlösschen". At that time, the building was also called the boathouse, because rowing boats were accommodated in the lower part.
The "Hafenschlösschen" was built in 1906 and has been extended and rebuilt several times since then. Today there is a cafe in the building.
The picture was taken in B&W and has been heavily retouched and colored. It was published in an anniversary publication in the early 1960s. The scan comes from a private digital collection.
