Taken from Wikipedia, "Von Kármán is an impact crater in the southwestern end of the Argyre quadrangle of Mars, located at 64.6°S latitude and 58.5°W longitude. It is 90.0 km in diameter and was named after Theodore von Kármán, and the name was approved in 1973.[1][2]

Nearby prominent and named craters are Phillips to the east, Du Toit to the east-southeast, southwest is Schmidt and west-northwest is Fontana, more than halfway with that location is Argyre Rupes which is a tall escarpment."
