Known locally as the great trellis, this pergola has been part of Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park since before 2003. For most of the year, fast growing wisteria vines provide shade over the north-south axis of the Christopher Columbus Park Path. In the colder months, the trellis is home to spectacular holiday lighting. The arch tunnel has been voted as one of the ten most kissable places in Boston.
