This is another Vertical Control Mark along Highway 2, this one at a gravel pit, euphemistically referred to as a "Borrow Pit".

Pit and benchmark are just over 9¼ miles east on Highway 2 from Waterville, Y 387 Reset is about 3¾ miles west of the Farmer Community Hall. It is about 25 feet north of the north edge of the highway, across the ditch and right at the southern edge of the "Borrow Pit". Witness posts stand on east and west sides of the marker.
