"This is Kayak Tahoe's home base, located on the pier behind the Beach Retreat. The Safeway Supermarket is just across the road. Zoom in on the map and select "Sat" view to see the pier and parking area. Here you will find the largest selection of kayaks and SUP paddleboards for rent in the Tahoe area. This is a convenient launch point for visiting the Upper Truckee River and its protected marsh area. The Timber Cove pier is also home to Action Water Sports, who provide parasailing, sailboat charters, and powered watercraft. Please note, this is a first-come, first-served rental operation and reservations will only be accepted for groups of 15 to 30 and must return by 1pm. For payment we accept cash or credit card (No AMEX), please remember to bring a photo ID with you."
