FR Cette église est dite Saint-Marc Saint-Just. L'appelation "haute" la situe bien puisqu'elle est au point le plus haut de la partie médiévale de la cité. Romane, elle date de 1652 et est utilisée actuellement comme lieu d'exposition (peintures et sculptures pendant l'été)

Son clocher est remarquable avec son décor polychrome et son armature de fer forgé en faîte.

Eglise faisant office de chapelle pour les habitants du château, elle devint église paroissiale en 1350. Deux nefs furent adjointes en 1652. l'église fut encore agrandie en 1733. Saccagée pendant la Révolution, elle fut restaurée en 1826 grâce au curé Terrasson et au maire Clément. Lieu culturel depuis 2005, elle accueille 20 000 visiteurs d'avril à octobre. Les voûtes ont besoin d'être solidifiées et l'intérieur doit être restauré car l'humidité cause beaucoup de dégâts.
La Fondation du Patrimoine et Banon lancent une souscription pour trouver des fonds.

Cette église aurait été en partie reconstruite sur les restes de la chapelle seigneuriale. En effet sur le monticule près de l'église existait déjà au 12ème siècle un château fort. Remanié au 13ème et au 17ème siècle, il fut incendié à la révolution.

The vaults need to be solidified and the interior must be restored because the humidity causes a lot of damage.
The Heritage Foundation and Banon launch a subscription to find funds.

This church was partially rebuilt on the remains of the seigniorial chapel. Indeed on the hill near the church already existed in the 12th century a castle. Remodeled in the 13th and 17th century, it was burned to the revolution.
