The Knäpper bread factory was located at Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 171 in Wuppertal, where a car dealer is located today. In addition to all common types of bread, the bread factory was known above all for its brown bread.
The Knäpper bread factory was operated in the legal form of a limited partnership. The company was entered in the commercial register (HRA 8265 Wuppertal) on October 12, 1911 and deleted on May 26, 1978.
The old neon sign advertising for the bread factory is attached to the back of the building directly on the Wupper. As a passenger of the suspension railway you have a good view of the relic from earlier times.
