A new bathhouse has been built in this city park, and is in use for the city pool. But the original bathhouse, built in 1941 still stands, although it is no longer in use and has been restricted by City ordinance in 2017. Before its closure, it had been re-purposed and was used as the Crescent library.

This is a one-story building constructed on rusticated native sandstone. There is a heavy stone beltcourse beneath the windows, which are small, square units. The roof has wide overhanging eaves. The front and rear entrances are in slightly projecting bays with canopies. The front entrance has a single wood and multi-paned door, flanked by segmented sidelights. To the left of the entrance, four holes can be seen, where the bronze WPA shield was once mounted.

Project type: Park structure/building (other than lodge)

Date built or created: 1941

Location: City park

City: Crescent

Condition: In need of renovation/repair
