The cross is located between "Leinpfad" and the Rhine under three lime-trees. The marked side is turned to the Rhine.

The cross which carries the name "Schwazze Krüzzje" (little black cross) is in a good state.

It reminds of a five-year-old boy who has drowned at this point in the Rhine on May 14. 1828. The cross is part of Monument list of Zündorf.
