Heilklimatische Kurorte müssen eine ständige Kurortklimastation betreiben. Für Rengsdorf wurde im November 2003 eine Station in der Verlängerung der Bürgermeister-Wink-Straße/Schauinsland errichtet.

Im ARD-Fernsehprogramm erscheint täglich um 19.50 Uhr das Wetter. Dort ist im Laufband auch die Station "Rengsdorf" mit Temperaturdaten ersichtlich.
