[GER] Das Gebäude wurde 1906-1907 als Volksschule errichtet. Von 1907 bis 1948 wurden in der Schule Alsenstraße Mädchen und Knaben der Jahrgänge 1–7 getrennt unterrichtet. Später wurde die Alsenstraße in Christian-Förster-Straße umbenannt und auch die Schule wechselte noch öfters die Bezeichnung und die Schulform.

Links neben dem linken Eingang hängen in Stein gehauen die Worte "Knaben Schule". Die Säulen des Eingangs zieren jeweils Knabenköpfe.

[ENG] The building was built between 1906 and 1907 as a primary school. From 1907 to 1948 girls and boys of years 1-7 were taught separately in the Alsenstraße school. Later, Alsenstraße was renamed Christian-Förster-Straße and the school changed its name and type of school even more often.

To the left of the left entrance hang the words "boys school" carved in stone. The pillars of the entrance are decorated with boy's heads.
