Two National Pony Express Centennial Association plaques have been affixed to the north side of a 1913 obelisk located at Fort Laramie National historic site, near Fort Laramie, Wyoming.
The two plaques were placed here 1961, the Centennial of the the Pony Express. The plaques read as follows:
